description - CIGAR LIGHTER / CURRENT SOCKET - Fiat 500 1.3 Multijet
On the centre tunnel, located in the dedicated compartment in front of the handbrake, there is a standard type current socket on the tunnel console next to the handbrake which can be used for the cigar lighter or for connecting instruments or equipment operating on 12 V.The cigar lighter heater coil can be located in the socket; simply press the knob to operate it: after a few seconds it will come out automatically, ready for use.The ring around the first socket lights up when the side lights are on.The socket is equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected. The current socket intake circuit is protected by a dedicated fuse and controlled by the ignition-controlled relay (INT/A), except during starting, located in the engine compartment junction unit.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - CIGAR LIGHTER / CURRENT SOCKET - Fiat 500 1.3 Multijet
The current socket / cigar lighter P050 (pin 2) receives a direct battery power supply via the line managed by relay T31 and protected by fuse F85, both housed in the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 64 of connector B).This power supply is interrupted during starting. The coil for relay T31 (pin 47 of connector B of B001) receives a power supply from the ignition-controlled line (INT/A) protected by fuse F31 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 21 of connector C).The current socket/cigar lighter P050 (pin 1) is lit up when the side lights are turned on to make it easier to use.The current socket/cigar lighter P050 is connected to the left rear earth C030 via pin 3.
