DESCRIPTION - REVERSING LIGHTS - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
The vehicle is equipped with a white reversing light located in the rear bumpers, on the right (on the left on right hand drive versions).It is activated each time reverse gear is engaged: this information is received via a switch located on the outside of the gear casing.The reversing light circuit is supplied by an ignition-operated relay and protected by a dedicated fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard.The reverse engagement signal is also sent to the steering column switch unit for the automatic operation of the rearscreen wiper and via the CAN to the Body Computer which forwards the information to the parking sensor control unit etc.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - REVERSING LIGHTS - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
The switch for the reversing lights I20 receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) from the fuse line F35 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a power supply to the reversing light in the right rear light cluster F33, directly via the junction unit B2 from pin 7 of connector D.The reversing light activation signal is sent to the steering column switch unit H5 - pin 3 of connector A - for the automatic activation of the rearscreen wiper.and to the Body Computer M1 - pin 3 of connector F - and from the latter, via the CAN line, to the parking sensor control unit and to the other network nodes.
