All instruments and controls (faces and guages) are lit up with key ON.The instrument panel leds are kept permanently on at the same brightness level.The instrument scale lighting leds are activated when they receive a side light on message from the stalk unit.
Operational Description - INSTRUMENT LIGHTING - Fiat DUCATO 2.8 JTD 8V fino a 02/05
Instrument panel lighting E050 is activated automatically when the side lights are turned on. Underfacia junction unit B002 supplies a side light activation signal - pin 24 connector C - to short-circuit junction D097 - pin 1 -. Short-circuit junction D097 supplies, from pin 6, instrument panel E050, at pin 9 connector B. The reference for the internal lights for instrument panel lighting is earth C015, connected to the instrument panel at pin 4 of connector A.The system is protected by fuses F37, F24 and F12, located in the underfacia junction unit B002, and fuse F03, housed in engine bay junction unit B001.
