Description - SPEEDOMETER - Fiat DUCATO 2.8 JTD 8V fino a 02/05
Vehicle speed is displayed on an analogue speedometer located inside the instrument panel.The signal is supplied by a special sensor located on the gearbox. This detects the number of crankshaft revolutions and sends them to the instrument panel in the form of an electrical signal. The instrument panel sends this signal to the engine management control unit and connect.The power supply from the speedometer is protected by a special fuse and governed by a relay. Both are located in the engine bay junction unit.The instrument panel power supply is supplied by the control panel.
Operational Description - SPEEDOMETER - Fiat DUCATO 2.8 JTD 8V fino a 02/05
Control panel H090 is supplied directly from the battery from a line protected by fuses F53 - located in under-facia junction unit B002 - and F01 - located in engine bay junction unit B001 -. The control panel supplies power, from pin 16 connector B, to instrument panel E050, at pin 10 of connector D.When engine management unit M010 supplies an earth signal from pin 13 of connector A (pin G2 connector A for the 2.0 petrol versions), relay T09 closes its internal contact and supplies sensor K084; the supply line is protected by fuse F11.Speedometer sensor K084 receives an earth signal at pin 2 from instrument panel E050 - pin 5 connector A -; at pin 3, it sends the engine rpm signal to pin 15 connrector D of the instrument panel.The instrument panel also supplies a vehicle speed signal to engine management unit M010 - pin 49 connector A , pin A4 connector B for the 2.0 petrol versions- and Connect M120 - pin A1 connector A -.
