Description - ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS - Fiat PANDA 1.3 JTD 16v
The electric windows for the front doors are operated using the special switches in the dashboard.They can be operated either manually or automatically, in accordance with the following logic:manual operation is by pressing the control switch for between 50ms and 300ms;automatic operation is by pressing the control switch for longer than 300ms.
The operation of the electric window is interrupted in the following cases: when automatic movement is in progress and the control switch is pressed again (closing or opening);in the (upper or lower) end of travel position, for both automatic and manual movement.
When the ignition is turned OFF, the electric window function is activated for about 2 minutes in manual mode only. When one of the two doors is opened, this function is inhibited.

The electric window switchesH042 (driver''s electric window) and H043 (passenger electric window), send the signals for raising/lowering the window by means of a negative signal with reference earth C020 connector B.767Earth C020 is secured to the passenger compartment floor and is positioned near the right front wheel arch (footwell area).The body computer node M001:from pin 14 connector H receives the signal for raising the driver''s window;from pin 24 connector H receives the signal for lowering the driver''s window;from pin 15 connector H receives the signal for raising the passenger window;from pin 25 connector H receives the signal for lowering the passenger window;
Having received the commands, the body computer node supplies the electric motors for raising/lowering the window.To raise the window, the body computer node supplies the electric motors N060 and N061 from pins 3 (driver''s side) and 4 (passenger side) connector M.To lower the window, the body computer node supplies the electric motors N060 and N061 from pins 2 (driver''s side) and 5 (passenger side) connector M.767The supply lines for the electric window motors are protected by fuses F47 and F48; the raising/lowering function is managed by two specific relays, integrated in the body computer node.The switches for the electric windows H042 and H043 receive an ignition-operated supply at pin 4 for the interior lighting.767The door couplings D030 and D031 are housed in the lower part of the pillar (right or left depending on the coupling involved) near the door cable duct.
