Description - ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL - Fiat STILO 1.9 JTD 16v Da 05/2005
The Cruise Control function - constant speed governor - allows the driver to drive the car at a constant speed without pressing the accelerator pedal. This adapative Cruise Control also offers the possibility, thanks to "radar" located in the front bumper, of detecting the proximity of a vehicle and, of deciding to overtake it automatically. The function is managed by the engine control unit. This receives commands from a Cruise Control lever on the left of the steering wheel beneath the stalk switch unit. The function is engaged by turning the wheel (ON).When a speed is set ( SET + , SET - ), the setting is saved and may be called up at any time ( RCL ).The HV (headway) button switches the overtaking function on.
Operational description - ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL - Fiat STILO 1.9 JTD 16v Da 05/2005
The basic Cruise Control function is managed by the engine management control unit M10 by the special Cruise Control command H7 located to the left of the steering wheel.
