Dodge Durango 1999 - 1999 ELECTRICAL Fuses & Circuit Breakers - Durango
Dodge Durango 1999 - IDENTIFICATION JUNCTION BLOCK
CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.
The junction block is located behind the end cover at the left side of the instrument panel. See Fig. 1 . The location and identification of junction block fuses and relays can be found on the inside of the instrument panel end cover. The junction block contains blade-type mini-fuses, relays, and circuit breakers for high-current circuits. For a location of the junction block, see Fig. 2 . For fuse identification, see JUNCTION BLOCK FUSE IDENTIFICATION table.

Dodge Durango 1999 - POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER
CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.
NOTE: If you are leaving your vehicle dormant for longer than 21 days you may want to take steps to protect your battery. You may do this by disconnecting the battery or by disconnecting the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) fuse in cavity No. 12. The IOD cavity includes a snap-in retainer that allows the fuse to be disconnected, without removing it from the fuse block. Pressing the IOD fuse back into the cavity reconnects it.
The Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located in the engine compartment. See Fig. 3 . This PDC contains fuses and relays for circuits that operate only under the hood. A label which identifies these components is located on the underside of the cover. To identify the PDC components, see Fig. 4 . For fuse identification, see POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER FUSE IDENTIFICATION table.
